Remembrance Day

The Royal British Legion left a variety of poppies, wristbands, zip pulls, reflectors and snap bands for purchase and the House Captains were out on the playground all week selling the items.

On Monday 11th November, Armistice Day, we all stood in silence together for 2 minutes to remember the end of the First World War, 101 years ago.

On 8th November the parents of one of our pupils kindly brought her horses dressed in full WW1 kit onto the playground and she explained to the children the role that horses had in the war as part of Bedfordshire Yeomanry.
